Some areas in the Empire have a high military presence since they border or close to border hostile nations.

The N.S.E. protect the C.S.C.S. for two reasons, first being that they are allies, second being that the N.S.E. holds itself responsible for the safety of the C.S.C.S. since they made them and in the end the C.S.C.S. usually does anything the N.S.E. wants.

Ash island has a secret supper weapon project and it is being funded by the N.S.E., the C.S.C.S., and the M.E.. In the End the N.S.E. has troops stashed all over the island, gives all sorts of weapons to AI and sends recruits to be trained to be in AI's military. The C.S.C.S. use 48% of there Navy and 22% of there air force securing the sea around AI. Lastly The M.E. spends 7% of its navy and 4% of its air force helping the C.S.C.S. around AI but focuses on the island itself mostly with 60% of its air force and 34% of its army at the ready. Note at any given point in time there are only about 4 to 5 planes and 6 to 7 patrol ships around the island most of the forces are ether on the island itself, at ember island, or at the south west point of M.E. ready to deploy.

In case of attack The N.S.E.'s forces used to protect AI are on the island and or on ember island. The C.S.C.S. are on ember island. The M.E. is at its most south west point with Vackna air force base and the Vackna ship yards.

N.S.E. used to defend AI are 7% on AI and 93% on ember island.
